One Dead After Crash Involving Drunk Driver In Pharr

On the early morning of Saturday, April 24th, a fatal two-vehicle collision left a 50-year-old man dead after being rear-ended by a presumed drunk driver.
Details About the Incident
According to local authorities, the accident occurred at approximately 3:00 a.m. at the intersection of Cage Blvd. and Javelina Drive in Pharr.
The 50-year-old man was stopped at a red light he was struck from behind by an alleged drunk driver shortly after. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 21-year-old drunk driver was arrested and charged with intoxicated manslaughter and accident involving death.
