Justin Stiel Davis

Justin moved to the Rio Grande Valley in 2009 and has lived there longer than he has lived anywhere else in his lifetime. He was born in East Texas but lived internationally as a child. That is, until fate brought him back to Texas.

There, Justin graduated from James E. Taylor High School in Katy, Texas. After high school, Justin attended Texas Tech University as a triple major in Philosophy, English Literature and Language, and Finance.

While at Texas Tech, Justin received Dean’s List and President’s List honors. In addition to his academic achievements at Texas Tech, he was also a member of the Zeta Pi chapter of Sigma Nu Fraternity, where he served as scholastic chairman.

After completing the Philosophy and English Literature and Language curriculum, Justin converted his college hours in Finance to a minor in General Business, but eventually, he attended The University of Denver Sturm College of Law.

While in law school, Justin was a member of the ADR Society, and shortly thereafter, he graduated from law school in 2009 and interned with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office for three months before moving down to McAllen.

It wouldn’t be long until Justin was admitted to the Texas Bar in 2012, and he later joined Dale & Klein in 2012 and primarily practiced family law. Then in 2013, Justin practiced in personal injury law with the Tijerina Legal Group. In 2014, he joined Farmers Insurance as in-house litigation counsel, and 4 years later in 2018, he moved to Fred Loya Insurance.

And now, Justin joins J. Gonzalez Injury Attorneys with substantial jury trial experience, having tried several cases to verdict as a first chair attorney throughout South Texas.

Justin believes in the importance of family, community service, and following our passions in life. Outside of his practice of law, Justin is an avid outdoorsman and an accomplished cook. He has volunteered with the Boys & Girls Club of McAllen and the Girl Scouts of Greater South Texas, and he served a 3-year term on the City of Edinburg Zoning Board of Adjustments.

Justin is married to Dr. Kelli Anne Davis, Ph.D., a mathematics professor and college administrator at South Texas College, and together, they have two daughters.
